Thermaco Big Dipper W-250-IS-T

The Thermaco Big Dipper W-250-IS-T is an automatic, self-cleaning grease-and-oil recovery separator designed for floor-mounted or partially recessed installation. This unit is engineered to efficiently separate and remove grease and oil from wastewater in commercial kitchens and food service establishments.

The unit features a rotationally molded polyethylene exterior and interior. It is rated to ASME A112.14.3 and/or PDI-G 101 standards.

  • Automatic Self-Cleaning: A rotating gear oleophilic/hydrophobic skimming wheel automatically removes grease and oil.
  • Programmable Operation: An analog precision timer interface allows for scheduling skimming cycles.
  • Heating System: A self-regulating electric immersion heater with thermostatic control maintains the grease in a liquid state for effective skimming.
  • User-Friendly Design: Features include a fully removable stainless steel lid and a separate, gasketted grease collection container with a handle and spout.
  • Integrated Components: Includes a flow control device, a 1″ (25mm) vessel vent, an integral gas trap, and an internal polymer/stainless steel strainer basket for collecting coarse solids.
  • Flexible Installation: The motor assembly and inlet/outlet direction are field-reversible without needing special tools. Two (2) no-hub connectors are provided for plumbing connections.
  • Safety Compliance: The electric assembly is tested to comply with ANSI/UL 73 and/or ANSI/UL 1004 standards, and the motor is equipped with overload protection.
